Zhaoqing (Sihui) Electronic Information Industrial Park is a major industrial platform in our city and an important industrial engine in the main position of the Zhongxijiang Advanced Manufacturing Corridor of Zhaoqing's "One Belt, One Corridor, One District".

At present, the overall planned area of the industrial park is 18,000 mu, of which the planned construction area of PCB (printed circuit board) and upstream and downstream industrial parks is 6,300 mu, focusing on introducing projects with strong, complementary, and extended chains and a complete industrial supporting system.

Entering Longfu Town-Zhaoqing (Sihui) Electronic Information Industrial Park, the high-energy consumption and low-value-added metal decomposition scene of the past no longer exists. The 8 newly settled electronic information PCB projects are advancing in an orderly manner, and the total annual output value is expected to reach 6.824 billion yuan after reaching full production.

Longfu Town is one of the important industrial agglomeration areas in Zhaoqing Sihui, with outstanding location advantages, but its development momentum has declined in recent years, and the Asian Circular Economy Metal Industry Base has turned from prosperity to decline.

As the first "circle management" park for imported waste in Guangdong and the third in the country, the industrial base has gathered nearly 90 scrap metal dismantling and processing enterprises at most. However, with the adjustment of scrap metal import policies, problems such as low industrial added value, high environmental risks, and low operating quality in the park have gradually been exposed.

Since 2020, Sihui City has comprehensively renovated the Longfu Circular Economy Metal Industrial Base and Longfu Electroplating Park, upgraded the original factory buildings and infrastructure, and built this place into the Zhaoqing (Sihui) Electronic Information Industrial Park, a circular economy metal industrial base. Focus on the development of industries such as electronic information, new energy vehicles and auto parts, and build the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Electronic Information Collaborative Innovation Center and Sihui New Industrial Space Model Project, and a provincial transformation and upgrading demonstration base.

According to reports, the overall planning scope of the park is about 18,000 mu, of which the PCB Industrial Park is planned to be built on 6,300 mu, and the park is divided into two groups and four major blocks for development with S118 as the boundary. Among them, the West Group has developed an area of 782 mu, with 28 companies in operation, an annual output value of 3.108 billion yuan, and an average industrial output value of 3.97 million yuan per mu. The East Group has further expanded its capacity based on the original Longfu Circular Economy Metal Industry Base, and has completed the development of a total of about 7,000 mu. Currently, there are 71 companies in operation, including 14 national high-tech enterprises.

In 2021, the total industrial output value of the park will be about 15 billion yuan, accounting for 17.69% of the city, and its development potential cannot be ignored. The first to get the moon is the water tower. Sihui's first listed company, Sihui Fushi Technology Co., Ltd., has taken the lead in the Electronic Information Industrial Park, investing 1 billion yuan to build a high-reliability 5G communication circuit board base with an annual output of 2 million square meters. The annual output value is expected to reach 2 billion yuan, which will become a new starting point for the company to increase capital and expand production.

The transformation of the metal disassembly base into the Electronic Information Industrial Park is a microcosm of Sihui City's improvement of the level of comprehensive land development and utilization. As one of the industrial clusters in Zhaoqing, Sihui faces the situation of small-scale enterprises and scattered land use. It has continuously concentrated on the redevelopment of inefficient stock land and revitalized the land, striving to allow a number of potential industrial projects to take root in Sihui.
