The Yangmei Reservoir, located in Dongcun, Baizhu Town, is the largest medium-sized reservoir with "first-class water" standard in Gaoyao District, responsible for the irrigation of about 24,000 acres of farmland and urban and rural flood control and water supply tasks.

Zhang Aijun came to the commanding height of the reservoir, overlooked the panoramic view of the reservoir, listened carefully to the introduction of the management and construction of the water source, and required all localities and relevant departments to resolutely implement the responsibility of ecological and environmental protection, respect the laws of natural ecology, strengthen ecological protection and restoration, and focus on the protection of drinking water sources to ensure that the water quality in the reservoir area is good, the irrigation of farmland is sufficient, and the drinking water of citizens is safe.
