History and Culture

Origin of Place Name

The seat of the People's Government of Huodao Town was called Shaweidian in ancient times. It is located on the main road from Gaoyao to Gaoming and Sanbu. Trade goods were carried on shoulders and on foot. Many people died of exhaustion here. It was also called the Starving Store. After the founding of New China, it was renamed Huodao Market.
