慧能在肇慶潛修15年，最後一鳴驚人，即位六祖。

為紀念六祖，肇慶多地都有與他有關的建築。如六祖慧能在四會隱居並點化民眾而建的六祖寺，六祖慧能客居時插梅為記的地方——梅庵等。

据清康熙和光绪《四会县志》记载，六祖慧能，在湖北黄梅得五祖传衣钵后，即归岭南，曾在四会扶卢山龙头铺小村隐姓埋名、藏身避难修禅多年。其间，他经常向村民传授禅法，与当地村民结下了深厚的情谊。后人在慧能藏身之地建六祖庵以作纪念。

六祖寺位於四會市貞山風景旅遊區內，原寺建於唐代，距今已有1300多年歷史。

與六祖慧能寺相鄰的山間，還有「六祖慧能池」「佛堂頂」「仙人路」「爛布衣」等與六祖慧能當年行跡有關的地名及山名。

寺廟四面環山，山勢峻俏，景色宜人。

遠望寶剎，殿郭林立、白牆綠瓦，在藍天白雲和青山綠樹的環擁之中，猶如一塊璀璨的翡翠。

六祖岩遺址

六祖岩遺址位於懷集縣冷坑鎮五星村上愛嶺山頂龜嘴岩上。

根據舊《懷集縣志》和韶關南華寺有關記載，謂唐代名僧慧能六祖禪師於龍朔年間（662年左右）到懷集時曾在此岩棲住而後得名。

該岩由3塊天然生成的巨型花崗岩疊成，頂部1塊，自西向東，

伸突3米，形成一個大飄簷，

兩側是花崗岩壁，高6.7米，寬9.7米。

石室岩壁上刻有「六祖岩」三個楷體大字，每字尺餘見方。

岩口南側壁有一幅長140公分、高62公分的石刻碑記，其中有：「峭壁懸崖叩上宮，慈悲救世釋儒同。如何十載修真地，一任囂塵歷劫紅。」此詩為縣令蔣航於光緒三十三年（1907年）登六祖岩所題。石室內石柱、石凳、石桌、石香爐至今尚在，六祖岩承載著深厚的宗教歷史文化內涵。

梅庵

梅庵，顧名思義，寺院栽有梅。

傳唐朝時六祖慧能喜梅，客居古端州城西崗時，曾於崗上植梅，以錫杖掘井。

宋代一位名叫智遠的和尚為紀念慧能，在此處建庵，取名梅庵。

目前，廣東省懷集縣藍鐘鎮嶽山腳下古城村靈芝產業基地裡的靈芝進入豐收季，村民正忙著採摘、刷粉、分選、裝筐、搬運......現場一片繁忙，一派豐收喜悅的景象。

記者走進大棚，陣陣芳香撲鼻而來，田壟上的一朵朵靈芝個頭飽滿、形態優美，煥發出勃勃生機，如同撐開的褐色小傘，格外奪目。

「今年是第一年試種，粗略估算，成活率約93%。」古城村靈芝產業基地負責人黎多年向記者介紹，第一期種植面積約2畝，今年基地種植了7000個菌包，預計靈芝乾品的總產量約600~800斤，靈芝孢子粉乾品為60~80斤，總產值25萬元。

好環境成就好「錢」景。基地四面綠樹環抱、泉水潺潺、土質肥沃、環境優美、溫度適宜，現在正是這種仿野生靈芝品質最好、藥用價值最高的時候。 “靈芝渾身是寶，可以補充人體所需的一些微量元素，也可以通過深加工做成袋泡茶、靈芝孢子粉、靈芝孢子油、靈芝保健食品以及靈芝餅乾、糕點等，深受市場青睞。”黎多年如是說。

藍鐘鎮古城村委會主任植日偉表示，該靈芝計畫有效壯大村集體經濟，帶動當地村民增收致富，助推農業產業發展，為鄉村全面振興注入了強勁動力。

目前，基地採摘的第一批靈芝已經走出嶽山、走向市場。
