The Zhaoqing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have always attached great importance to the "investment campaign". Since the comprehensive launch of the "general campaign" last year, the city's leading cadres have insisted on leading by example, using the "project landing concentrated supervision day" regular service, "four no two direct" open and secret inspections and other methods, and went deep into enterprises and parks to fully cover the on-site supervision of the "general campaign" projects. All levels and departments actively grasp projects, industries, and development, and promote the implementation of manufacturing projects to achieve solid results.

All localities and departments should earnestly enhance their sense of responsibility, mission and urgency in doing a good job in the "general battle", keep a close eye on the actual investment annual task targets of manufacturing investment projects and capital increase and expansion (technical transformation) projects, seize the golden period and key period of the third and fourth quarters, and persevere and redouble their efforts to grasp projects and strive for development. Deepen the "project landing centralized supervision day", strengthen project scheduling management, full process follow-up, and full closed-loop service, and do everything possible to solve practical problems such as service support, factor guarantee, and administrative approval in project promotion. Adhere to the actual performance of projects and the comparison of projects, improve the working mechanism of rewarding advanced, spurring backward, and exchanging and learning from various places, accelerate the implementation of project construction, and lay a solid foundation and add stamina for the construction of the western manufacturing new city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

It is reported that since 2024 this year, Zhaoqing has continued to deepen the "general battle" for the construction of manufacturing projects, focusing on supervising nearly 800 manufacturing projects, and going all out to serve projects, enterprises, industries, and growth, and make the manufacturing industry solid and thick. From January to July, the city completed actual investment of 30.938 billion yuan in manufacturing investment projects, up 32.01% year-on-year (23.435 billion yuan); completed actual investment of 14.03 billion yuan in capital increase and expansion (technological transformation) projects, up 27.6% year-on-year (11 billion yuan); and effectively promoted 391 "big battle" projects to achieve rapid land supply, rapid construction, rapid completion, and rapid production.
