Three towns in Sihui City, China were selected as "Top 1,000 Towns with Comprehensive Strength in China"

On September 20, 2024, the China Small and Medium-sized City Development Index Research Group and Guoxin Small and Medium-sized City Index Research Institute released the research results of the 2024 China Small and Medium-sized City High-quality Development Index, as well as the 2024 National Top 1,000 Town Development Report.
Among them, Sihui City, Zhaoqing was selected into the "Top 100 Counties and Cities with Comprehensive Strength in China in 2024", ranking 86th, and is the only county and city in the province to be listed in the CESI and Guoxin Top 100 Counties list. Sihui was also selected into the "Top 100 Counties and Cities with Green Development in China in 2024", "Top 100 Counties and Cities with Investment Potential in China", "Top 100 Counties and Cities with Science and Technology Innovation in China", "Top 100 Counties and Cities with New Urbanization Quality in China" and other lists.
In addition, Dasha Town, Longfu Town, and Xiamao Town in Sihui City were selected into the "Top 1,000 Towns with Comprehensive Strength in China". Among them, Dasha Town ranked 804th and Longfu Town ranked 955th, both of which have risen compared with last year. Xiamao Town was on the list for the first time, ranking 964th.
Dasha Town is located at the intersection of Xijiang River, Beijiang River and Suijiang River. It is the eastern gate of Zhaoqing City and Sihui City, and the throat of the Pearl River Delta to northwest Guangdong. It is 58 kilometers away from Guangzhou City and 50 kilometers away from Zhaoqing City. It belongs to the "one-hour traffic circle" of Guangzhou, Foshan and Zhaoqing, and the "two-hour traffic circle" of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Dasha Town adheres to the principle of "industry-driven town, projects as king, parks as mother, and enterprises as first". There are about 300 industrial enterprises, including 128 industrial enterprises above designated size and 79 national high-tech enterprises. 41.62 square kilometers of Dasha Town are included in the scope of the municipal management start-up area of Zhaoqing's large-scale industrial cluster area, accounting for 79.2% of the total area of the municipal management start-up area, becoming one of the core battlefields for Zhaoqing's future industrial development.

Longfu Town has a good industrial foundation. It is one of the 12 industrial demonstration towns in the city as specified in the "Three-Year Action Plan" of Zhaoqing City's "Hundred Million Project". It has built the Zhaoqing (Sihui) Electronic Information Industrial Park. There are 59 industrial enterprises above designated size, 25 enterprises with an output value of over 100 million yuan, and 10 enterprises with a tax revenue of over 5 million yuan. The town currently has 25 national high-tech enterprises, 9 provincial "specialized and new" small and medium-sized enterprises, 17 provincial science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, 4 provincial engineering technology research centers, and 2 Zhaoqing engineering technology research centers.
The town has a solid agricultural foundation. It is located in a low mountain and hilly area with dense water networks and numerous rivers and ponds, which is suitable for agricultural production. It has 16,100 acres of cultivated land and 13,200 acres of fish ponds. It focuses on the development of five major agricultural industries, including poultry, aquatic products, vegetables, flowers and seedlings, and fruits. Among them, the output of poultry is 1.83 million and the output of pigs is 124,000, ranking first in Sihui.
The location conditions are superior. It is located at the intersection of Erguang Expressway and Provincial Road S118 in the northern suburbs of Sihui City. It takes 10 minutes to reach Sihui City, 20 minutes to reach Nanshan Town in Sanshui District, 30 minutes to reach Zhaoqing City and Zhaoqing New District, 1 hour to reach Guangzhou and Foshan City Center, and 2 hours to reach Hong Kong and Macao. The cultural tourism potential is profound. The Sixth Patriarch Huineng once sought refuge and "hid when he met a meeting". He practiced hard for fifteen years in Fulu Mountain, Yingjiao Village, Longfu Town. The "Sixth Patriarch Temple" and "Sixth Patriarch Ancient Temple" were built at the foot of the mountain.
