On July 4, 2024, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Zhaoqing Municipal Bureau of Commerce jointly held the unveiling ceremony of the GoGBA Hong Kong Business Service Station (Zhaoqing) and the sharing session of the food and beverage industry at the Western Business Center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
During the event, Yang Yunhui, Deputy Secretary-General of the Zhaoqing Municipal Government, made an investment environment promotion on behalf of our city, and Huang Tianwei, Chief Representative of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in South China, delivered a speech. More than 40 food and beverage companies from Zhaoqing and Hong Kong participated in the meeting, including buyers, distributors and manufacturers. The companies in the two places exchanged ideas with each other to promote more investment cooperation and trade exchanges.
Subsequently, the delegation went to Zhaoqing High-tech Zone to inspect Guangdong Zhenghuizhu Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Debao Pre-prepared Food Co., Ltd. to understand the investment and operation of food and beverage companies in our city. Kong Lingju, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Xie Hanhao, Deputy Director, and relevant business department staff participated in the event throughout.
The establishment of the GoGBA Hong Kong Business Service Station (Zhaoqing) indicates that the trade exchanges between Zhaoqing and Hong Kong will be more convenient and efficient, providing more business opportunities and channels for Zhaoqing food and beverage companies to conduct foreign trade business and explore the global market, and also providing a reliable platform and experience sharing for Hong Kong food and beverage companies to invest in Zhaoqing and business cooperation. At the same time, it will attract more Hong Kong businessmen to invest and start businesses in Zhaoqing, and provide efficient and convenient one-stop services for Hong Kong businessmen to invest in the Greater Bay Area.
