On the morning of February 10, 2024, the first day of the Lunar New Year, Guangning County held the 2024 "Guangning Rural Commercial Bank Appointment" Spring Festival Dragon and Lion Parade. Hundreds of dragons and lions gathered in the central square of the city to dance and parade lively, celebrating the New Year with the citizens.

Guangning County leaders Chen Chaochang, He Jiancai, Jiang Haiyan, Lai Qing'an, Feng Zhaomian, Zeng Xiaohong, Chen Wanhai, etc. attended the event and awarded the flag to the dragon and lion team participating in the parade, and expressed their appreciation for Guangning County's participation in the 17th National Martial Arts Competition in 2023. Award winners from rural competitions and Guangning athletes from the 32nd Summer Olympics, 19th Asian Games, and 14th National Games were awarded, and the "National Sports Reserve Talent Base" was unveiled.

At the event, campus martial arts(kungfu) exercises, martial arts group projects, lion dances and other Wuxiang-specific performances were performed, and a dragon dance performance was also specially arranged. Accompanied by the sound of gongs and drums, two long golden dragons danced in the venue, bringing joy to the scene, symbolizing good luck, rising auspiciousness, auspicious stars shining high, and good fortune. Subsequently, a parade of more than 3,000 people, consisting of 10 dancing dragons and 100 dancing lions, started from the city central square, paraded and performed along Baiying Avenue, Zhonghua West Road, Zhonghua Middle Road, and Zhonghua East Road, and finally arrived at the east of the city. Square, the total distance is about 2.3 kilometers.

Amidst the lively and cheerful sounds of gongs and drums, the auspicious dragon marches with its head held high, cruising happily and interacting with the citizens from time to time. This year’s parade added martial arts cultural elements such as the “Hometown of Martial Arts in the Nation” plaque, Quang Ninh Wushu people, and Quang Ninh mountain lion warriors.
