The groundbreaking ceremony was held in late April 2023 and construction started. The main project construction was completed in October. It will be completed and put into production in May 2024.

The Guangning County Traditional Bamboo Processing Demonstration Base currently has three projects stationed, including Guangdong Beautiful Life Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Guangning Zhenhui Paper Products Co., Ltd. and Guangning County Gushui Hongda Bamboo Stick Products Factory, mainly producing "replacing plastic with bamboo" products and bamboo sticks such as Xingfu Cake knives and forks, trays, packaging boxes, packaging materials, etc.

The transfer period is 20 years, and the implementation entity is Guangning County Zhuxiang Lvmei Ecological Development Co., Ltd. The transfer work will be carried out from August 2023 to July 2024, involving 14 towns (streets) and communities such as Nanjie Street, Gushui Town, and Kengkou Town.

At present, the progress of the storage work is led by the Guangning County Finance Bureau (Guangning County State-owned Assets Bureau) in conjunction with the County Forestry Bureau, County Supply and Marketing Cooperative, local towns (streets), villages, and the County Zhuxiang Green Beauty Company. The forest land transfer work for Guangning County's 1.08 million mu of bamboo forest will be implemented in stages. The first phase of transfer of 200,000 mu will be completed on June 30, 2024, and the task of 400,000 mu will be completed by the end of December 2024. As of June 6, the bamboo forest storage area has been 131,191.76 mu, with a completion rate of 65.6%. Beicheng Town, Tanbu Town, Muge Town, Jiangtun Town, Binheng Town, Chikeng Town, Luogang Town, and Shizui Town have exceeded the task.
