The two universities under construction in Sihui are Guangzhou Huashang University Sihui Campus and South China Agricultural University Zhujiang College Sihui Campus.

Guangzhou Huashang University Sihui Campus is located in the core area of ​​Sihui New City, with a total planned land area of ​​800 mu and a planned investment of 2 billion yuan. The campus has completed the construction of the first phase and the first bid section, including teaching buildings, laboratories, student dormitories, staff apartments, standard sports fields, libraries and other facilities. It has teaching, training, sports, life and other functions, which can meet the teaching and living needs of more than 6,000 teachers and students. In September this year, the campus started the construction of 220,000 square meters of school buildings, including teaching and training complex buildings, student activity centers, student dormitories, canteens, teacher apartments and other buildings, which are scheduled to be delivered in mid-August 2022. ‌

The Sihui Campus of South China Agricultural University Zhujiang College is located in the Xiabu Fruit Field in Chengzhong Street, Sihui City, with a planned total investment of 2 billion yuan, a planned land area of ​​800 mu, and a planned total construction area of ​​300,000 square meters. The campus is scheduled to be put into use in September 2022 and will be built into a full-time general undergraduate college that can accommodate 14,000 students. The campus is equipped with facilities such as a library, auditorium, art and sports building, gymnasium, international academic exchange center, innovation and entrepreneurship incubation base, canteen, talent apartment, teacher and student dormitory and teaching building.
