Since 2024, Deqing County has firmly grasped the main line of "improving quality and efficiency" of the economy, adhered to the real economy and manufacturing as the mainstay, and focused on "expanding channels, deepening industries, and strengthening itself", attracting high-quality resources, improving the quality of investment, promoting high-quality economic development in the county, and accumulating new investment attraction forces.

From January to July 2024, Deqing County introduced 21 new manufacturing projects with a planned investment of 1.696 billion yuan, including 12 projects with an investment of more than 50 million yuan, and 15 projects belonging to the leading industries of the city and county.

More than 20 chain extension and chain strengthening projects are being followed up, with a planned investment of nearly 3 billion yuan.

Broaden investment channels and expand investment network

Since the beginning of this year, more than 10 investment promotion conferences, negotiation meetings and other activities have been held in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Shandong, Fujian and other places to actively promote the investment environment and industrial advantages of Deqing County. At the conference, more than 200 enterprises were actively connected, 78 outbound industrial investment promotions were made, 168 enterprises and chambers of commerce were visited, and more than 110 enterprises came to Deqing for inspection.

In January, Deqing County hired 8 outstanding entrepreneurs including Chen Dongmei as investment consultants for Deqing County, and effectively provided more than 30 investment leads and project information; more than 30 enterprises that have settled in Deqing County were recommended to come to Deqing for inspection, in order to further understand the upstream and downstream enterprises of the industrial chain and accurately draw the investment map.

In March, "Deqing Resident Investment Promotion Offices" were established in Guangzhou City, Huadu District, Shenzhen, Dongguan and other places, constantly "weaving networks and expanding channels", using chambers of commerce and associations to leverage the land, play the role of bridges and ties, leverage related enterprises, and expand the "circle of friends" for investment promotion.

In April, the main leaders of the Deqing County Government led a team to visit Hong Kong and attend the 2024 Spring Festival Gala of the Hong Kong Deqing Hometown Association and the Conference on Supporting the High-quality Development of Deqing County, further strengthening exchanges and cooperation with all walks of life in Hong Kong, as well as hometown connections with hometown associations in Hong Kong, and playing the "hometown card" for hometown investment.

In May, we participated in the "Dongguan-Zhaoqing Green Building Industry High-quality Development Exchange Conference and Zhaoqing Investment Environment Promotion Conference", closely followed the opportunities, took advantage of the dinner exchange opportunity, and jointly discussed the high-quality development plan of the green building materials industry, accurately "attended the conference to attract investment", and took the industry's accurate investment promotion "through train".

In June, we held a return visit and exchange for Hong Kong compatriots and Shenzhen folks and a promotion conference to help the "hundreds of millions of projects" to tell the Deqing story well, promote Deqing resources, and build a channel for project attraction and cooperation.

Deqing County has always attached great importance to the integration and coordination of the industrial chain, and has continuously refined and improved the panoramic view of the industrial chain, focusing on serving the existing leading enterprises to become bigger and stronger, serving Detong Company to implement the energy-saving industrial fan expansion project, and Tianlong Company to implement the fine chemical capital increase and expansion project.

Establish a government-enterprise consultation working mechanism, a "Deshang·County Mayor Face-to-Face" consultation forum working mechanism, and a joint meeting system for the implementation of industrial project construction. Convene a party-government-enterprise communication and county mayor·entrepreneur special forum on ongoing projects to help enterprises solve their difficulties and promote the development of key backbone enterprises such as Guanxu and Xinfeng and doubling their production capacity.

At the same time, continue to open up channels for government-enterprise communication, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between industries in the county, jointly seek investment needs of upstream and downstream enterprises in the "industry chain", and jointly create a complete industrial chain ecosystem. Actively guide the integration and coordination of the industrial chain, realize resource sharing, complementary advantages, and improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the entire industrial chain.

Work hard on every detail in the process of attraction, strengthen full-chain tracking, full-factor guarantee, and full-cycle service, and provide refined services to enterprises.

Encourage learning and catching up, and strengthen team building

In March and July, two investment promotion training courses were held throughout the county to strengthen the study and training of investment promotion policies, business theories, investment promotion, business etiquette, etc., to effectively practice "internal skills" and forge an investment promotion team that understands policies, industries, and investment promotion;

Afterwards, the Deqing County Investment Promotion Center internally carried out the "Investment Promotion Competition to Promote Improvement" business publicity competition, guided by party building, and guided cadres to become "experts" in investment promotion through competitions to promote training and learning, further improve the professional quality and practical ability of investment promotion cadres, and create the center's internal driving force for excellence.
