The first Guangning County Wonton Snack Festival and the public brand launch of the Zhaoqing Cantonese chef specialty snack project "Guangning Wonton" will be held on the morning of June 22 (this Saturday) at the Xinghu Archway Square in Duanzhou, Zhaoqing.

Guangning wonton has a long history and is the most distinctive and representative specialty snack in Guangning, the bamboo village. Guangning wonton has the characteristics of crisp skin, smooth meat, full fillings, and fresh soup. It has won many titles such as "Chinese Cantonese Famous Snacks" and "Guangdong Famous Snacks".

According to incomplete statistics, in 2023, there were 161 wonton shops and noodle shops registered with the market supervision department in Guangning County, and about 200 snack shops of various types selling wontons; there were about 400 small shops and stalls selling Guangning wontons in Guangning County; it is conservatively estimated that Guangning has more than 1,000 wonton shops in the Pearl River Delta, directly driving the employment and entrepreneurship of about 4,000 local people.
