On January 20, 2024, the opening ceremony of the Fengkai County Training Base of the Zhaoqing Pickleball Association was held at the Fengkai County Gymnasium to help Fengkai become a pickleball city.
After the unveiling ceremony, a Fengkai County women's pickleball training class was held in the Fengkai County Gymnasium, attracting the participation of women's federations of towns (streets) in Fengkai County, the Women's Workers' Committee of the Fengkai County Federation of Trade Unions, and various agencies under the Fengkai County government.
About 60 pickleball enthusiasts participated in the training.

The trainees were trained through the "combination of learning and practice" model.
During the on-site training, the coach demonstrated to the students how to hold the racket, serve, receive the ball, smash and other actions. The students actively tried and studied hard.
Under the patient guidance of the coach, the students quickly mastered how to hold pickleball rackets and the basic skills of pickleball.
It is reported that a training class for pickleball coaches and referees was also held on the same day to provide correct guidance and referee decisions to cultivate talents for future training and competitions, and to contribute to the development of pickleball in Fengkai County.
