According to the rules of the Paris Olympics, the top 20 in the world rankings for this event will advance, and Cui Chenxi and Zeng Wenhui, whose world rankings have risen to 8th and 12th, have already occupied a favorable position to skate to Paris. Budapest is the last qualifying competition before the Paris Olympics, and Chinese athletes also need to add weight to the road to advancement through good performance in this station. In the qualifying line competition, Cui Chenxi and Zeng Wenhui did not disappoint, scoring 65.92 points and 55.69 points respectively, and both entered the semi-finals with 16 participants. Tian Jun, a Chinese skateboard referee currently officiating in Budapest, said that according to the rules of the Paris Olympics, the top 20 skaters in the world in skateboarding events will directly get tickets to the Olympics. Combined with the requirement that each country/association can only have three participants in a single event, Cui Chenxi, Zeng Wenhui, and Zhu Yuanling, who are currently ranked 8th, 12th, and 20th in the world, have already locked in the "Paris tickets" for this event in advance. China has also become the fourth country/association to obtain full qualification for this event after Brazil, Japan, and the United States.
The women's street semi-finals will continue in the early morning of June 23rd, Beijing time, and 16 players will compete for 8 finals. In the women's skateboard bowl preliminaries that ended earlier, Chinese players Zheng Haohao and Li Yujuan ranked 21st and 29th, and missed the semi-finals; Zhang Jie ranked 26th in the men's skateboard street preliminaries, and Chen Ye ranked 28th in the bowl preliminaries, and also failed to advance.
