Since last year, in order to fully promote the "Hundreds of Millions of Projects", our village committee has cooperated with Sihui Huilin Flower Co., Ltd. through the industrialized operation model of "Party organization + village collective economic organization + orchid enterprise + farmers" to build a Jinkeng lychee lang orchid planting demonstration base, and promote six interest linkage mechanisms such as "dividends for capital investment, rent for land transfer, remuneration for base work, benefits for trusteeship management, skills for free training, and income for driving planting" to strengthen the village collective economic income.

In addition to the continuous development and expansion of the orchid industry, Shigou Town has also accelerated the construction of a thousand-acre citrus industrial park. In February this year, the Shigou Town Citrus Industrial Park project signed a contract with Sihui Huifeng Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd., and was located in the Daixia Village Committee of Shigou Town. The planned planting area is 6,000 acres. It will be built into an agricultural and forestry characteristic ecological industrial park integrating planting, breeding, tourism, health care, and vacation. The annual output value is expected to reach 75 million yuan. Among them, after the completion of the first phase of the 3,000-acre citrus industrial park, 150 jobs can be added for the villagers, and the village collective economic income will increase by 150,000 yuan each year. Shigou Town itself has a long history of citrus planting, with relatively good transportation and natural conditions. In addition, the government attaches great importance to the revival of the citrus industry and gives us great support. At present, the citrus industrial park project is progressing very smoothly. 2,600 acres of land have been developed and more than 12,000 citrus seedlings have been planted. After the entire project is completed and put into production, the annual output of citrus is expected to reach 20 million to 30 million jins, and the annual output value can reach 55 million to 75 million yuan.

Since 2023, Shigou Town has made every effort to promote the "Hundred Million Project", strive to accelerate high-quality development, achieve stable economic development of the town, a good start for the "Hundred Million Project", vigorous development of characteristic industries, continuous improvement of people's livelihood and welfare, and continuous improvement of rural governance efficiency.

This year is the second "Orchid Tourism Culture Festival" held in Shigou Town. On the newly established "Orchid Market", many surrounding farmers set up stalls for the exhibition and sale of characteristic agricultural products such as camellia, citrus, cinnamon, bamboo civet, and Roche shrimp. For Diao Mulian, a poor household in Cheng Village, Shigou Town, this orchid is a "golden flower and silver flower" on the way out of poverty.

Diao Mulian, 35, is a low-income family member of the Lion Villagers' Group in Cheng Village. She has a son and a daughter who are studying in school. She has two elderly people to take care of. She can only earn a small income from working as a household farmer for a long time. At the end of 2019, Diao Mulian's family received more than 5000 yuan of poverty relief income. For this poor family, this is undoubtedly a timely help.

In November 2018, Shigou Town led the local agricultural leading enterprise Yalanfang Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yalanfang") to establish the "Demonstration Base for Alleviation of Orchid Industry in Shigou Town, Sihui City" in Cheng Village, and signed a cooperation agreement with 120 households and 352 targeted poverty alleviation households. The above bases are invested with poverty alleviation funds, and Yalanfang is responsible for planting and operation. The annual income is 10% of the poverty alleviation funds invested in advance.

Shigou Town Orchid Industry Poverty Alleviation Demonstration Base is located next to the Wuyi Mountain Pond of Cheng Village, covering an area of 60 mu. It is mainly planted with Guolan, Sijilan and hybrid orchid, with an annual seedling production of 300000 pots and an annual output value of more than 6 million yuan.

Lai Guofei introduced that in 2019, the first phase of the finance at all levels of the Fourth National Congress has invested 3.3258 million yuan in special funds to help 115 and 331 targeted poverty alleviation households to become shareholders of Yalanfang. On December 24, 2019, Yalanfang held the 2019 annual poverty alleviation income distribution meeting, and the poverty alleviation income of 3325800 yuan has been fully distributed to the above 115 households and 331 people.

In 2018, Pan Qiming returned to his hometown and founded Yalanfang. He not only hopes that he can develop and strengthen the orchid industry in Shigou Town, but also is committed to helping the poor through the orchid industry.

Pan Qiming said that by adopting the business model of "company+base+poor households", the demonstration base for poverty alleviation of the orchid industry in Shigou Town has implemented six benefit linking mechanisms, including "dividends for capital investment, land rent for land transfer, remuneration for base work, benefits for trusteeship management, skills for free training, and income for driving planting", to ensure that poor households have stable and sustainable income.

In addition to the poverty relief income, Diao Mulian has been working in Yalan Fangwu since June 2019, with an average monthly labor income of about 2500 yuan. The 0.4 mu of land shared by Diaomlian's family will also be transferred intensively to Yalanfang in 2019, which will bring rent income of 1100 yuan/mu for Diaomlian's family each year. The government also subsidizes Diao Mulian's family with a minimum living allowance of about 1200 yuan per month. Diao Mulian said that life is getting better every day.

Recently, Cheng Village plans to invest 500000 yuan of provincial special funds in the local Zhaoqing Wanlvxing Flower Planting Co., Ltd., and the expected annual income is 10% - 15% of the total investment, so as to expand the village's collective economic income. Shigou Town is located in Suijiang River, on both sides of the river. There has always been a traditional custom of dragon boat racing on the Dragon Boat Festival, and the traditional three-person rice boat race in Daixia Village has a history of nearly a hundred years. It is a popular folk sports competition. On that day, a total of 12 rice boats competed fiercely on the Qushui River. Everyone paddled wooden oars, strived forward, and competed.
