The two places carry out various forms of cultural, economic and trade exchanges every year and achieve good results. Currently, Zhaoqing is actively promoting the establishment of a sister city relationship between Guangning County and Miri City in Malaysia. The two parties have signed a memorandum of understanding on the development of friendly exchanges and cooperation in 2022.
