Sihui Huilin Flower Co., Ltd. is the first orchid enterprise in Sihui City, founded by Taiwan compatriot Mr. Chen Mingxing in 2004. Over the years, with the support of Shigou Town, the company has continued to grow and develop, and in September 2023, it once again innovated its development model, adopting the "company + cooperative + farmers + base" approach, and cooperating with the Jinkeng Village Committee of Shigou Town to build a demonstration base for planting lychee lang orchids, using industrial thinking to create a high-standard and high-end orchid planting base, breaking the road of Sihui orchid development, and increasing the village collective economic income of Jinkeng Village by more than 76,000 yuan each year, and providing more than 20 jobs for the masses.

Since last year, in order to fully promote the "Hundreds of Millions of Projects", our village committee has cooperated with Sihui Huilin Flower Co., Ltd. through the industrialized operation model of "Party organization + village collective economic organization + orchid enterprise + farmers" to build a Jinkeng lychee lang orchid planting demonstration base, and promote six interest linkage mechanisms such as "dividends for capital investment, rent for land transfer, remuneration for base work, benefits for trusteeship management, skills for free training, and income for driving planting" to strengthen the village collective economic income.

In addition to the continuous development and expansion of the orchid industry, Shigou Town has also accelerated the construction of a thousand-acre citrus industrial park. In February this year, the Shigou Town Citrus Industrial Park project signed a contract with Sihui Huifeng Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd., and was located in the Daixia Village Committee of Shigou Town. The planned planting area is 6,000 acres. It will be built into an agricultural and forestry characteristic ecological industrial park integrating planting, breeding, tourism, health care, and vacation. The annual output value is expected to reach 75 million yuan. Among them, after the completion of the first phase of the 3,000-acre citrus industrial park, 150 jobs can be added for the villagers, and the village collective economic income will increase by 150,000 yuan each year. It will become the largest citrus planting base in Zhaoqing City.

Shigou Town itself has a long history of citrus planting, with relatively good transportation and natural conditions. In addition, the government attaches great importance to the revival of the citrus industry and gives us great support. At present, the citrus industrial park project is progressing very smoothly. 2,600 acres of land have been developed and more than 12,000 citrus seedlings have been planted. After the entire project is completed and put into production, the annual output of citrus is expected to reach 20 million to 30 million jins, and the annual output value can reach 55 million to 75 million yuan.

Since 2023, Shigou Town has made every effort to promote the "Hundred Million Project", strive to accelerate high-quality development, achieve stable economic development of the town, a good start for the "Hundred Million Project", vigorous development of characteristic industries, continuous improvement of people's livelihood and welfare, and continuous improvement of rural governance efficiency.

In the promotion of the "Hundred Million Project", Shigou Town fully launched the "Seven Ones" construction of beautiful towns, completed the "1+1+1" pairing assistance with construction companies, comprehensively improved the living environment, infrastructure and public service level of towns, organized tree planting activities, and planted more than 7,800 green plants of various types. In terms of the development of characteristic industries, two national key R&D special technology achievement demonstration bases and one Paphiopedilum fine variety breeding experimental demonstration base were established, and a 15-acre national important Paphiopedilum cultivation base was built. Two orchid brands, Lanyuanhua and Yalanfang, were selected as the "Guangdong-branded" agricultural brands in 2023. Yalanfang Company was successfully approved as the "Guangdong Provincial National Orchid Breeding Standardization Pilot"; the Guangdong Province (Sihui Shigou) 2024 Orchid Tourism and Culture Festival was held, and cultural and creative products such as orchid cups and orchid sachets were developed to broaden the path of agricultural, cultural and tourism integration.

In the process of continuously improving people's well-being, the Party and Mass Service Centers in Daixia Village and Shigou Village have been newly built, and public facilities such as the Rural Revitalization Comprehensive Service Station, Children's Park, and Smart Stage have been built; activities such as forums with local celebrities and consultations have been held. Since 2023, social forces have been mobilized to raise funds and materials totaling more than 3 million yuan to support the "Hundred Million Project"; promote science and technology to empower rural governance, create the "Smart Village Digital Shigou" platform, and build a "one network" for rural smart governance. It won the top ten outstanding projects for rural revitalization in Zhaoqing City, and Shigou Village was selected as the "Democratic Rule of Law Demonstration Village (Community)" in Guangdong Province in 2023.

Third, deeply develop the cultural and tourism industry, make a good publicity card for the annual "Orchid Tourism and Cultural Festival", actively plan major projects such as the Shigou Town orchid industry agricultural, cultural and tourism integration project, strive to be included in the ultra-long-term special national debt and government special bond project library, plan to develop orchid-themed homestays and develop orchid cultural and creative products, and broaden the path of agricultural, cultural and tourism.

First, actively promote typical cultivation to increase points, expand areas and improve quality, accelerate the construction of typical towns and villages, and in accordance with the requirements of "1+4+7+9+N" typical town construction, with the help of enterprises such as China Railway 23rd Bureau, accelerate the completion of key typical town projects such as the construction project of the beautiful demonstration main street in Shigou Town.
