Lithium battery exports increased by 105.7% year-on-year! "Made in Zhaoqing" has strong export momentum

Recently, in the Ruiqing Times warehouse located in Zhaoqing High-tech Zone, 30 containers with a total of 505 tons of lithium battery packs passed inspection and supervision and will be exported overseas by sea.

According to statistics, from January to April 2024 this year, the Zhaoqing Customs District exported 120 million yuan of lithium batteries, a year-on-year increase of 105.7%.

After passing the inspection, this batch of lithium battery packs will be exported overseas by sea in the name of Ruiqing Times, playing an important role in large-scale wind and solar power storage, communication base station backup power supply, home energy storage and other fields.

As its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ruiqing Times is the first lithium battery manufacturer in Zhaoqing to pass the AEO advanced certification, enjoying a number of customs clearance convenience measures such as priority customs clearance procedures and reduced number of export on-site inspections, shortening the customs clearance time for goods. In addition, in August last year, Ruiqing Times obtained the zero-carbon factory certification from the international certification organization SGS, becoming CATL's first "zero-carbon factory" mainly engaged in energy storage batteries, which has many favorable conditions for exports.

On December 14, 2023, the lithium battery energy storage system produced by Ruiqing Times was successfully loaded and sailed away from the port at the Sihui Port Terminal in Zhaoqing. For the first time, "Zhaoqing cargo" lithium batteries entered the international market through the local water transport transit logistics model.
